The UNA-USA Hawaii Island Chapter, in collaboration with the University of Hawaii at Hilo International Student Services and Intercultural Education Program, will present the fourth lecture on international relevance.
Su-Mi Lee, assistant professor in the Department of Political Science at the University of Hawaii-Hilo, will be the featured speaker with a presentation titled “International Conflict Resolution” at 7 p.m. Jan. 21 in the Campus Center Room 301.
Lee’s current research interests center on topics of conflict management, with a particular emphasis on how mediators’ characteristics affect the likelihood of mediation occurrence and success.
Her research has been published in the International Journal of Peace Studies and Foreign Policy Analysis.
She will speak about the conditions that are associated with mediation success in international disputes.
