The College of Continuing Education and Community Service at the University of Hawaii at Hilo is offering a class titled “How to Start and Operate a Successful Dog Boarding Business” from 10 a.m.-noon Saturdays, April 16-May 14, on the UH-Hilo campus in Room W9.
The cost for the class is $300, which includes the required book. The registration deadline is Thursday (March 31).
This course is designed for dog lovers who want to establish a home business boarding pet dogs for families in their community.
Instructor Dr. Carl Oguss, psychology professor and owner of the East Hawaii Dog Psychology Center, will teach participants how to successfully start and operate a profitable home dog boarding and/or dog daycare operation.
