Police are investigating the theft of an electronic tablet at The Computer Store on Kekuanaoa Street in Hilo.

At 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, a man entered the business and took the tablet computer valued at $450, police said. His image was captured on a surveillance camera.

Anyone who knows his identity is asked to call the police non-emergency line at 935-3311 and ask for Officer Daniel Kuwabara or Crime Stoppers at 961-8300.
