Guinness World Record holder Jon Pritikin of Feel the Power is speaking to students in Honokaa, Waimea and Waikoloa this week.
For two decades, Pritikin has traveled the world motivating and inspiring people of all ages by bending steel bars, tearing telephone books, snapping baseball bats in half and breaking concrete bricks as a platform to share his never-give-up story. On July 11, 2007, he broke two Guinness World Records for rolling up frying pans with his bare hands.
Having overcome obstacles and disabilities, and proving wrong all those who spoke the words, “You can’t,” Pritikin has a gift for speaking to issues of self-worth and to the value of each individual.
More than 4 million people around the world have heard this motivational message. He will speak at Honokaa High and Intermediate School on Wednesday, and will visit Waikoloa Elementary and Middle School and Waimea Elementary School on Friday.
