More than 1,500 Big Island residents of all ages supported the island’s terminally and chronically ill keiki by attending the All You Can Eat Ice Cream Party fundraiser Sunday at Aunty Sally’s Luau Hale in Hilo.
The benefit raised money for the nonprofit group A Dream Come True, which grants wishes to terminally ill children and children with chronic diseases.
The Big Island organization encourages families who have children ages 4-17 with a terminal or chronic condition to apply to A Dream Come True.
