Born in Saskatchewan, Canada, she was a former banker, a deacon of the Hilo Coast United Church of Christ, a community assistance volunteer, a member of the Rotary Club of Hilo, American Association of University Women Hilo Branch, Children of Faith Missions, Women’s Walking Group, and a lychee, macadamia nut and coffee farmer. Leilani Rosaline Tagalicod, 75, formerly Leilani Rosaline Marzo, of Pahoa, died Nov. 12. at her daughter’s home in Hilo. Born in Olaa, she worked at Frank Huff Agency, and was a secretary at Pahoa Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She retired from Kamehameha Early Education Program as a secretary and was a member of the Pahoa Sacred Heart Catholic Church and the Ka’ahumanu Society Hilo Chapter 3.
