Wendell Ing leads the Hilo High School Ambassadors in singing Christmas carols Wednesday at Hilo Guitars and Ukuleles. The group spent the day caroling at other businesses and locations throughout the downtown area. The applied music class carols in Hilo once a year in early December to preview its annual winter concert. The Silver Bells Ambassadors Winter Concert is at 7 p.m. Dec. 17 in the Hilo High School Auditorium. Tickets cost $2 for students and $5 for adults.
