Delores Jean Germar Ikawa, 92, of Shelbyville, Ky., formerly of Hilo and Indianapolis, died April 1 at her daughter’s home in Shelbyville. Born in Wayne, Neb., she was a retired registered nurse and member of St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church in Indianapolis, Red Hat Society, The Browsers, a quilting club, who volunteered as a poll watcher, tutored children and took many classes and trips with Oasis.
