Eugenia Delapena Esteban, 66, of Hilo died March 27 at Hospice of Hilo Pohai Malama Care Center. Born in Laguilayan, Isulan, Sulfan Kudarat, the Philippines, she worked for Hawaiian Linen Supply. Born in Kealakekua, she was a housekeeper at King Kamehameha’s Kona Beach Hotel, the former Kona Hukilau and Kona Inn hotels and Casa De Emdeko, member of ILWU Local 4 and New Hope Legacy Church. Visitation 8-10 a.m. Saturday, April 15, at Kealakehe High School cafeteria, 73-5000 Puohulihuli St., Kailua-Kona. Funeral service at 10 a.m. Burial to follow at Kona Memorial Park in Holualoa.
