Born in Ka‘u, he was employed by Ka‘u Sugar Plantation as a heavy equipment operator, Kapapala Ranch, T&T Electric, Akal Security, Cronies Bar &Grill, Forrest Solution, Ka‘u Coffee Mill and was owner/proprietor of Kailiawa Coffee’s.
