Kona coffee festival seeking volunteers

Organizers are seeking volunteers for the 2017 Kona Coffee Cultural Festival from Nov. 3-12 at venues throughout the Kona area.

Friendly, reliable volunteers of all ages are needed to help with events during one of Hawaii Island’s oldest food festivals. Individuals, businesses and community service groups are welcome to participate.

Tasks include event setup, execution and breakdown, survey taking, greeting, traffic control, venue maintenance and post event cleanup.

Interested volunteers are asked to email jkadooka@twc.com or call 936-8320.

Celebrating its 47th year, the Kona Coffee Cultural Festival’s mission is to preserve, perpetuate and promote Kona’s unique coffee heritage.
