Police seek flag theft suspects

Police are seeking the public’s help in finding two suspects in a flag theft from the Hilo Hawaiian Hotel on Banyan Drive.

Police released images from surveillance video and said the man in the gray shirt took the U.S. flag, while the man in the black shirt and black hat stole the Hawaii flag.

Anyone with information is asked to call the police non-emergency number at 935-3311 or Crime Stoppers at 961-8300.
