Rickey “R.B.” Lee Bailey Sr., 60, of Captain Cook died Dec. 1 at the Kona Community Hospital. Born in Salinas, Calif., he was a former kitchen manager for Huggo’s Restaurant. Violet Anna Mahi Brooks, 86, of Waipahu died Dec. 24 at Ka Panawal Ola Nursing Home in Kapolei. Born in Papaaloa, she worked as a hotel pantry chef.
