Samantha O. Brossard Channels, 36, of Hilo died Jan. 15 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Blythe, Calif., she was a homemaker, founder of gotsunblock.com, an advocacy website for skin cancer prevention and awareness, and a member of the Melanoma Research Foundation.
