Eduarda “Duarda” Susa Julian, 88, of Pahoa died Jan. 18 in Hilo. Born in Banna, Ilocos Norte, Philippines, she was a retired co-owner of Julian’s Papaya Farm and was a member of Pahoa Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Visitation will be held from 5-9 p.m. Friday at the Dodo Mortuary Chapel. Celebration of life at 6:45 p.m. A final viewing will be held from 8-9:30 a.m. Saturday at the Pahoa Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Mass at 9:30 a.m. with burial to follow at Pahoa Catholic Cemetery. Semi-casual attire; flowers welcome. Survived by husband, Marcos L. Julian of Pahoa; sons, Laureto (Elizabeth) Julian, Juanito (Eredulin) Julian and William (Catherine) Julian, all of Pahoa; sisters, Flaviana Ramos of Pahoa and Antonia Alejandro of the Philippines; 13 grandchildren. 11 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
