County Councilman Dominic Yagong will host a brief gathering in Paauilo today at 11 a.m. to discuss a recently-approved county resolution to allow a nonprofit organization to take over 15 acres of county-owned land for the production of food for The Food Basket.
Members of the public are invited to come see the property, located about a half mile north of Donna’s Cookies in Paauilo on the mauka side of the road in a fenced-in area.
Experts on sustainability and farming will also be on hand.
