Born in Riverside, Calif., he was the president of Diversified Ag Products Inc., employee of Suisan Co. and Harold Crawford Co., a member of Family Christian Center in Hilo, the Hawaii Papaya Association, the Hilo Rotary Club, the Hawaiian Civic Club and the Western Pacific Fisheries Regional Management Council.
