HONOLULU (AP) — More than 1,000 will be attending a Honolulu conference for legal administrators.
The Association of Legal Administrators 2012 conference will be held at the Hawaii Convention Center from Sunday through Thursday.
It will be the first time the group holds its annual convention in Hawaii.
The conference is for legal management professionals who are responsible for the day-to-day operations and management of private law firms, corporate legal departments and governmental agencies.
Convention center officials say participants will travel from 15 countries including the United Kingdom and Brazil to attend the meeting.
The event is expected to generate more than $8.2 million in state revenue.
